“I’m a Pekingese/Chihuahua!  (aka Peke-a-chu) - Don’t you have any Kung Pao Chicken?  A nice beef enchilada perhaps?  No?  OK.  *sigh*  I guess I’ll chew on this then.  But I won’t… *mmm!*  I won’t like it… *nhrm nhrm nhrm*”

Sparky lives 8 1/2 hours away from me, and I rely on my Mom to get pics of him. Her camera isn’t always the best, but this pic turned out so well!

I’ve warned Mom about not giving Sparky the regular rawhides, since ingesting too much rawhide is not good for dogs, and Sparky needs a lot of chewin’ treats as his adult teeth come in (he has two!) Compressed rawhide is the perfect solution. (At least I’m told it’s safer. If anyone has other info, please comment.)

Look how long the fur on his ears is getting!

I haven’t seen Sparky since I went home to Kansas this Christmas.  I miss you Sparky!

Sparky is so adorable. I knew there was something about him I liked (the Chihuahua part). :)

That pic is adorable! I bet you do miss Sparky. She is too cute not to be able to play with everyday! Thanks for your comments on mom’s decorating. She got all those needlework things from her grandmothers and great aunts.

He has got to be one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. We have two Chihuahuas so I am partial to them.

Sparky if you stick to the compressed hides you won’t have to get you teeth cleaned like furever and you’ll make your family so happy that you don’t chew on other things! The little ones and the thin ones can actually get caught in your throat and you could choke even if you Mooses’ size.

Love Licks & waggin TX tails
pee es this is a fab baby pic to look back on xo

I skip rawhides altogether (since they have chemicals and other icky stuff in them) and go for Nylabones. They are durable and made for chewing (not to be ingested). They make softer ones for puppies and lil’ dogs and big tough ones for bigger dogs. :)

I typically buy stuff like that from jefferspet.com , they are cheaper and ship quickly.

What a cutie pie! I love the pics of him with Moose. :)
